Job Title: Floor Restaurant Manager

Salary: $50 - $55K (According to experience)

Regal Talent is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Mexican Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. The Floor Restaurant Manager will manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain a smooth workflow on the restaurant floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Staff Management:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers.
    • Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
    • Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
  2. Customer Service:

    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining service standards and addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Monitor and manage guest reservations, ensuring efficient table turnover and a positive dining experience.
    • Train staff on customer service best practices and uphold the restaurant's reputation for exceptional service.
  3. Floor Operations:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations on the restaurant floor, including opening and closing procedures.
    • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
    • Monitor inventory levels of front-of-house supplies and place orders as needed.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for guests and staff.
  4. Training and Development:

    • Implement ongoing training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and incorporate best practices into restaurant operations.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among the team.
  5. Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements.
    • Implement and enforce restaurant policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues related to cleanliness, safety, or compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house processes.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management.
