Responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory standard costing activities for US SAP Gearing Industrial Components and Energy Divisions' plants and assist with standard costing and margin analysis activities
• Perform standard operational reporting for multiple plants, supporting daily management of the business, proactive management of costs and working capital, and to drive sustainable improvement
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives in order to standardize processes and maximize the value of our SAP ERP system across the sector
• Provide ad hoc analyses to support Operations Finance
• Help maintain an effective controls environment
• Maintain, review, and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records to support the close process
• Perform individual G/L account reconciliations and propose correcting entries as needed
• Assist with other ad hoc accounting projects

Experience and Skill Required

• Junior/Senior at an accredited university with studies in Accounting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong Excel skills
