Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all communications, messaging, marketing, and branding activity for ReefPoint Group
  • Provide direction and vision for ReefPoint Group’s integrated marketing and communications functions
  • Design and create all marketing, public relations, and advertising products and materials
  • Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive and effective communications, marketing, branding and campaign strategies across various platforms that are consistent with the strategic goals, plans, and vision of ReefPoint Group
  • Ensure effective and efficient operation of all Corporate Communications, Editorials and Design Services, Web Strategy and Development, Visual Media and Crisis Communication
  • Serve as the company’s brand manager by identifying key messages and audiences to tell ReefPoint Group’s stories and create a consistent, unified message that articulates the company’s image, brand, and vision while maintaining the company's reputation
  • Manage the company’s LinkedIn page and other digital media assets
  • Implement metrics to determine effectiveness of campaigns, analyze data to suggest changes
  • Support the Business Development team during capture and proposal processes
  • Create and execute strategies for HR and Employee communications
  • Keep up to date with marketing and communication trends, best practices, and competitor strategies


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing and communications or related field required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of marketing and communications experience
  • Experience with development of communications, messaging, marketing, and branding activity
  • Experience working with either the U.S. military, Department of Veterans Affairs, or another federal government agency preferred
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert understanding of marketing strategies and practices required
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and Sharepoint
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools required


Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
This position requires the employee to be a US Citizen.


Work Environment:
Work will be done in an office setting/environment and will need to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment. The person in this role will need to have the ability to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time and occasionally will need to move about inside an office environment. This position frequently communicates with other employees and external stakeholders. The person needs to have the ability to accurately exchange information in these settings. This position is on a hybrid work schedule, with some time spent in our Tysons Corner, VA office.
