Position Summary

The Staff Accountant works as part of the finance and accounting team and is primarily responsible for the daily bank and account reconciliations. The Staff Accountant is a detailed oriented self-starter with a good understanding of the basics of accounting.

Responsibilities & Duties

•Perform daily bank account and general ledger account reconciliations.

•Maintain various sub-ledgers related to our investment portfolio.

•Update month end and quarter end internal and external reporting files.

•Provide quarterly documentation to audit group and external audit firms to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements and to support audit of external financial statements

•Maintain desk level procedures for processes as necessary

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance

•2 years general accounting experience

•Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills 

•Familiarity with Workday is a plus

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this role is 75k - 90k. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certification, and other factors.
