Seeking an Engineer who can maintain, trouble shoot and Support network systems (PC, Servers, Cloud system, Router, Firewall, Switch and WIFI and implement network and system installation plans. Each day provides a new challenge and opportunity to learn as you will work across the enterprise performing necessary maintenance, providing and supporting the help desk and being actively involved in the design and deployment of network systems and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance / Help Desk (tier 1-2)

Manage System issue/problem according to the appropriate SLA:

• Monitor customer inquiries and/or system alarms.
• Respond to inquiries via e-mail/phone for solving issues/problems.
• Collaborate with appropriate vendor for solving the system issues as needed.
• Manage inquiry/issue from the beginning to the resolution and close of case.
• Propose improvements to the system in order to reduce issues/problems.
• Help improve the monitoring system in order to resolve the issue/problem proactively.
• Document the outage/system problem report.

Network and System Design & Depl;oyment

Responsible for system integration projects completing the following:

• Create design document based on the requirement definition.
• Document as needed the: Inventory sheet, Parameter sheet, Logical/Physical Diagram, Test Item List / Schedule / Procedure, OM Manual etc.
• Perform the configuration/setup work according to the kitting procedure and record the configuration/setup work log.
• Implement, setup and test at customer site.

BACKGROUND

• Bi-lingual English Japanese proficiency
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting PCs including knowledge of MS Office, Windows 10, printers, network connectivity, etc.
• Understanding of Windows servers including Windows 1012 2019 including patching
• Knowledgeable of 1 or more Cloud systems
• Basic knowledge of Cisco, Router, Firewall, Switch configuration, troubleshooting and implementation.
• Experience supporting WIFI and end point configuration and implementation.
• Knowledge formal network implementation plans and completing medium complex system installations
