Exciting opportunity for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join an amazing group of healthcare professionals in our multi-specialty practice with focus on pain management. Put your existing skills to work and learn more as you grow with us.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of documentation required for patient appointments.
- Use of EHR (documenting patient history, vitals, test results, exam findings, plans as instructed by provider).
- Order entry and submission (ePrescribing, labs and imaging studies, interventional procedures, etc.)
- Assist with in-office injections.
- Respond to patient calls and inquiries.
- Respond to pharmacy refill inquiries.
- Any and all other tasks as directed by providers.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant with minimum 2 years experience; pain management and/or psych experience a plus.
- Solid working knowledge of EHR systems; Athena knowledge a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology; musculoskeletal/neuro/psych a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
