We are hiring for one full-time position available to work the following schedule:
Wednesday – Sunday

We are currently accepting applications for a driven, energetic, and success-oriented Medical Assistant that will create a friendly, welcoming, and well-organized patient environment to facilitate a flow throughout the facility. This position is paperwork-heavy with a blend of direct patient contact. Our ideal candidate must work well under pressure as this fast-paced environment has a high patient volume. We are looking for somebody who is career-minded and looking to grow within our company.

Responsibilities:
*Prepare copies of billing packets for completed procedures/surgeries
*Fax / Email documentation to other medical offices
*Assist Nurse with taking vitals in pre-operative and post-operative setting
*Assist Nurse with transferring patient out of the facility via wheelchair after anesthesia
*Restocking recovery room supplies daily

Requirements:
- Wednesday thru Sunday work schedule
- Prior experience working in a surgery center or hospital
- Knowledge of Eclinical, Google Drive, OneDrive, Word, Excel, Chrome
- Must have strong written and verbal knowledge of English language
- Must be able to work in both Edison and Springfield on designated days
- Must have a drivers license and reliable form of transportation
(must have your own car - can not rely on public transportation or uber)

Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Currently active BLS Certification

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Completion of two year college program (associates degree or higher)

- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care and service based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required.
