Red Mesa Science & Refining is a large-scale raw materials manufacturer and supplier of CBD and CBG isolate and distillate as well as several other minor cannabinoids. As a B2B producer our customers are wholesale end product formulating businesses that specialize in contract manufacturing, white labeling and private labeling activities. We are searching for a talented and experienced Equipment Sanitation Tech.

This position is located in St. George, Utah. This is beautiful red rock country surrounded by world-famous national and state parks, reservoirs, trails and mountains. In 2022, St. George hosted the IRONMAN World Championships along with several other world-class athletic and ATV/Jeep events. Red Mesa Science and Refining is looking for an innovative and passionate individual to join our operations team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development of and adherence to safety processes and procedures. Additional qualifications, responsibilities and authorities are described in the tables below.

Equipment Sanitation team members are responsible for maintaining the facilities vessels, surfaces, floors, and some equipment CIP cleanliness and ensuring relevant items are ready for the production team’s use.

Essential Work Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience working in a food processing environment is beneficial.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Physically agile and dexterous.
• Available to work after hours.
• Resilient to cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Ability to perform a monotonous task with great efficiency over 12-hour work periods without losing quality.
• Must have a basic understanding of the Industrial Hemp Production and Medical Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and must pass UT and Federal background checks.

Responsibilities

Train and adhere to the documents and procedures applicable to your role.

Adhere to federal, state, and local requirements for hygienic and safe operations.

Immediately notify a manager or Quality

Assurance representative of a possible issue with product, process, or materials.

Adhere to developed processes and standards for written entries and/or records.

Provide all QMS-relevant documented information to Quality Assurance for retention.

Notify your Supervisor of any low inventory
