Receiving Associate Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m. (Overtime as Required) $14.50/hr Position Summary Red Lion is seeking a Receiver to unload trucks, unpack pallets of parts, and unbox parts. The Receiver will unpack parts to verify they meet set standards. The Receiver will process inventory into inventory management software. Additionally, the receiver will Pack parts into bins, boxes, or pallets and store parts in approved locations or deliver parts to point of use. Essential Job Functions Knowledge and understanding of materials transaction activities and Kanban systems Self-starter with the ability to accomplish tasks accurately and in a timely manner, ability to work under minimal supervision Demonstrate initiative and effective problem solving skills while executing assigned responsibilities Maintain material availability to the production area in compliance with operational procedures Perform cycle counts per documented cycle count program, performs research to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner and improve overall accuracy Communicate with all levels of the organization Monitor shelf life of materials in the stockroom Must be able to count parts accurately and perform basic math Accurate data entry of parts records Identify areas of improvement, participate in continuous improvement activities, promote an environment and culture of safety and team engagement Working Conditions Must be able to stand entirety of shift Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
