Red Hawk Landscaping is Hiring a Lawn Care Worker Near Springfield, IL

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our clients' lawns and landscapes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces and is self-motivated.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming
- Mulch and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and small trees
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides (as needed and licensed and applicable)
- Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from lawns and gardens
- Leaf management and clean up (with snow / ice management off-season work available)
- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools
- Provide high level customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries

EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscape or groundskeeping work
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including mowing patterns, fertilization schedules, and weed control methods
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools
- Familiarity with tree care practices, including pruning and trimming
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs
- Strong attention to detail, ability to talk with customers and be self motivated
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks

Please note that this is a full-time position with very competitive pay based on experience. We will consider those new to the industry but prefer those with "green time". We do have part-time opportunities as well, but build staffing around our full time employees.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
