Springfield First United Methodist Church is Hiring a Child Care Worker Near Springfield, IL

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Providers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing environment for them to learn and grow.

Hours:

Sunday: 8:45 -11:45AM. Occational weeknights 6:15 to 8:30PM

Optional classroom teaching opportunities include: Infants; 2-4 year olds ; K-3; or 4-5th.

Qualifications:

Experience caring for children and the ability to adapt and interact with a variety of personalities. Background check upon hiring (done by SFUMC). Safe Sanctuaries training will be provided. At least 18 yars of age.

Responsibilities:

- Provide attentive care to children in a daycare setting

- Implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate children

- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care

- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a positive learning atmosphere

Skills:

- Experience in daycare, nannying, or babysitting

- Proficiency in toddler and infant care

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 10 per week
