For more information, visit www.redharebrewing.com.Kitchen Manager: The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Manager is to manage the kitchen staff and BOH operations including all food prepping, meal preparation, inventory managements, and kitchen sanitation while ensuring food quality and safety protocols.Duties and responsibilities:
Manage kitchen staff & all BOH operations to deliver quality cuisine and achieve optimal customer satisfaction
Train, develop and manage kitchen staff members and their schedules
Oversee day-to-day food prep for all menu items
Maintain food and condiment inventories at optimal levels
Ensure all food items and condiments are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, and serving standards
Responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food products in a timely manner, according to established recipes, and procedures
Ensure all kitchen surfaces and equipment receive proper daily cleaning
Work seamlessly in a team environment
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations pertaining to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant
Other duties as necessary
Position Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of kitchen management
Must have leadership skills & “can do” leadership attitude
Must have excellent knowledge of food handling & safety regulations
Proven ability to communicate effectively
Outstanding customer service skills & passion for delivering exceptional dining
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
Professional appearance and attitude are required
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (6-7 hours at a time)
Must be able to work about 40 hours per week
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
