Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work time: Friday and Saturday from 11 am-8 pm
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer questions about the menu
- Upsell additional items or specials to increase sales
- Clear and clean tables between courses and after guests leave
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Strong math skills for handling payments and making change
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of culinary terminology and menu items
- Familiarity with food service regulations and food safety practices
- Exceptional time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Ability to work well within a team
