Job Summary:

As a catering server, your responsibilities typically include:

• Setting Up: Arriving early to set up buffet tables, decorations, and any other necessary equipment according to the event's specifications.
• Service: Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner, adhering to any dietary restrictions or special requests.
• Customer Interaction: Interacting with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the event.
• Cleanup: Clearing tables, cleaning up any other catering equipment used during the event. Ensuring the event space is left clean and tidy.
• Teamwork: Working closely with other catering staff, such as chefs, bartenders, and event coordinators, to ensure smooth execution of the event.
• Adaptability: Being flexible and able to adapt to changes in the event schedule or menu at short notice.
• Attention to Detail: Paying close attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the catering service, from food presentation to table settings, meet the highest standards.
• Professionalism: Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the catering company in a positive light.
• Safety: Following proper safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during the event.
