We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our office team. This role is vital to our daily operations and offers a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing multiple financial tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• QuickBooks Management: Handle data entry, account reconciliations, and financial projections efficiently.
• Payroll Processing: Ensure timely submission of payroll details as per the scheduled deadlines.
• Direct Job Cost Tracking: Monitor and record direct job costs accurately to aid in financial reporting and analysis.
• Rebate Submission: Manage and submit rebate claims in accordance with company policies and deadlines.
• Invoice Management: Create and submit repair invoices, ensuring they are accurate and dispatched in a timely manner.
• Collections: Oversee the collections process, ensuring that payments are received and processed.
• Accounts Payable: Review accounts payable entries for accuracy, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded correctly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in an accounting role, particularly with QuickBooks.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
