Design Sales Representative - $3,000 Sign-on Bonus Earn up to $100,000 per year in commission & bonus after a year with the company.

Bumble Bee Blinds is the fastest growing Window covering business (blinds, shades, draperies, shutters & outdoor shades) in the country. North Milwaukee is our newest location servicing downtown Milwaukee and the Northern Suburbs (a big territory, booming with opportunity).

As a design sales representative at Bumble Bee Blinds, you will be responsible for selling window-covering products and installation services to residential and commercial clients in your market. You will help build a clientele, drive sales revenue and back the company on standards, quality, and professionalism. A successful design consultant will hold oneself to high customer service standards while being detail-oriented, organized, creative, ambitious, and very personable. You will use your strong listening and communication skills, as well as intellectual capital and a sales-driven mindset to present innovative design solutions to prospective customers. 

In this role, you’ll spend your days making the homes and workspaces of our clients more beautiful, functional, and comfortable by servicing the qualified leads that our award-winning marketing team generates. You will have a full support staff around you including a General Manager, local owners, an installation team, call-center support, a marketing group dedicated to filling up your schedule with leads, digital lead generation team, customer service for product questions and plenty more! Our product offerings are kept fresh and current to ensure you can expertly meet your client’s preferences and unique buying needs. We are committed to providing our clients with a seamless purchasing experience that is backed by our industry-leading warranty and outstanding client care services, so you can feel confident and proud in your Design Sales role with Bumble Bee Blinds.

We are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for new Design Sales Representatives who are part of the North Milwaukee market. Terms are: $1,500 will be paid out after 90 days and an additional $1,500 will be paid after 180 days of service and in good-standing and active employment with Bumble Bee Blinds

Here is what you will do (your core responsibilities)

  • Expertly match our diverse products and services to client’s needs
  • Arrive on time to work and any/all appointments and meetings.
  • Drive leads. Answer new and existing customers' phone calls while following sales processes.
  • Successfully close appointments by demonstrating our unique Value Proposition, and by building trust and credibility.
  • Properly execute all systems and procedures to ensure client satisfaction, and to avoid order errors that adversely affect the company’s bottom line and positive reputation.
  • Measure, record, and configure specifications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide high-level client service and follow-up in a friendly, professional, and timely manner for both internal and external clients.
  • Be flexible to the needs of the business, including appointment scheduling, time off requests, attending team meetings and training.
  • Build and nurture strong networking relationships with new clients, existing clients, interior designers, realtors, and builders in the market.
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating client data, project status, and job details in the CRM.

  • Background in customer service, retail, or sales (comfortable with in home sales)
  • Detail oriented, organized and can keep efficient notes and records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High energy, positive attitude, and forward thinking
  • Strong team player and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner who is adaptable, self-reliant, resourceful and handles competing priorities.
  • Understands and carries out oral and written instructions, and requests clarification.
  • Expresses thoughts, ideas, concerns in a positive, confident, respectful, and productive manner
  • High school degree or equivalent is required. Some college work is preferred.
  • Availability to work full-time five days per week.
  • Proficiency with using a PC and with Microsoft Windows based programs.
  • Ability to quickly learn and follow new technology processes and systems.
  • Can drive within canvassing areas and accommodate longer drive times to meet the needs of clients outside of assigned area.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
  • Experience with CRM and POS Systems preferred.
