Job Overview: In this role, you will play a crucial part in our company's success by efficiently handling incoming orders through multiple channels, including phone, email, and our online customer portal. Additionally, you will serve as a vital link between our customers and flooring installers, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of job site issues. As our business continues to expand, we require a fast learner who can adapt to changing demands and deliver results promptly. Efficiently process and manage incoming customer orders from various channels, including phone, email, and the online customer portal.
Accurately record order details, product specifications, quantities, and delivery information.
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when processing orders, recording information, and communicating with customers and installers.
Identify and address any issues, discrepancies, or challenges related to orders and installations.
Collaborate closely with internal departments, such as sales and warehouse, to address any issues or discrepancies related to orders.
Answer customer phone calls; provide appropriate solutions or direct them accordingly.
Communicate with subcontracted flooring installers via SMS regarding job site deliveries.
Perform additional duties as necessary to support the team and company goals.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience providing phone-based customer support preferred.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Ability to accurately perform data entry while speaking on the phone.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
Proactive problem solver – takes initiative to identify, research, and resolve problems as they arise; willing to help others when needed to solve issues.
Able to correspond effectively and professionally via email.
Experience with Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, and Shared Drive is a plus.
Flooring industry experience is a plus but is not required.
