Now hiring for a District Manager
(Residential Housepainting Division : Chicagoland Northwest Suburbs / Western Suburbs Territory)
We are a family owned residential housepainting company that has served the Chicagoland suburbs since 1968. Our office/warehouse is in Westmont IL (Oak Brook area).
Job Overview
We are a seasonal business, therefore the pace of work and the job itself tends to change as the year advances. The job is essentially two-fold. Primarily the job is a Sales Position. Secondly, you would manage what you’ve sold (scheduling and communicating).
Duties and Responsibilities
We have an extensive (salary-paid) training program before you go solo.
Spring/early-summer, the job mostly consists of scheduled sales appointments provided by our office. Absolutely NO COLD CALLING OR DOOR TO DOOR. We are excellent at generating sales leads and scheduling your day for you. 5-6 appointments per day can be expected at the beginning of the year and it will gradually taper down to 3 or less per day.
As the year progresses, the job shifts to less of a Sales role and to more of a Manager.
