REACH is looking for an individual with a desire to work with young people in both an out-patient and short-term shelter setting. Counselor/Case Manager, full time, salary. 2 years experience in residential youth counseling/casework desirable. A working knowledge of the juvenile justice system and basic understanding of psychological, sociological, and social work concepts is needed. Should be able to relate well to youth, parents, agency, and supervisory personnel, as well as co-workers. Must be available for day, evening and some weekend/holiday on-call scheduling.
Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or Guidance and Counseling required.
