The Case Management Program Trainer is responsible for training new Case Managers to perform Targeted Case Management and Supports Coordination Services. Mentor underperforming Case Managers to improve documentation and performance requirements. Training includes, but is not limited to clinical documentation requirements, authorization requirements, referral standards, and available community resources. Train case managers to be successful in engaging and developing relationships with consumers, how to ethically complete collaborative documentation, and how to schedule services appropriately. The Case Management Program Trainer will be responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining training material as necessary. Provide case management services and coverage as needed to "unseen" or "underserved" children, adults, and/or families with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disability, serious emotional disturbances (SED), and/or substance use disorders to ensure success in empowering people on their journey to wellness.
Qualifications and Education Minimum Requirements
Applicant(s) need to meet minimal credential requirements/experience of CMHP, QIDP, and QMHP, which includes 3 years experience with a bachelor's degree or 1 year experience with a master's degree in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families. A minimum of bachelors degree in a human service field from an accredited school is essential in this role. Human service fields may include, but is not limited to Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Education, or Chemical Dependence. State clinical license is preferred.
