RDE Logistics is Hiring an IT Technician Near Palo Alto, CA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our staff. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Set up and manage user accounts and permissions
- Assist with network administration tasks, such as configuring routers and switches
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates and backups
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Document all support activities and solutions in the ticketing system
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure user satisfaction

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems, typically of a lower complexity
  • May install software or perform hardware testing remotely
  • Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors
  • Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support
  • Work with Network, IS, Endpoint team to keep machines updated on policies and on network
  • Report all workload through tickets in
  • Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues with other IT teams
  • Support printer connectivity

Qualifications:

•HS Diploma

  • 5-7 years experience required
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
