Job Title: Human Resources Representative
Reports To: Vice President
Summary: Ensure all human resource related policies and procedures comply with standard legal practices. Create onboarding plans for new hires to educate them on company guidelines. Organize employee training, recruit new employees, process regulatory and legal requirement documents. Utilize excellent communication skills and technical and legal knowledge to convey information to employees,
Duties and Responsibilities
1. File and maintain personnel files and documents, medical and benefits records in compliance with labor laws.
2. Onboard new employees and/or prepare termination documents for employees in an accurate and timely manner.
3. Assist managers in reviewing Time & Attendance for payroll accuracy, process payroll in conjunction with outside payroll service. Assist employees and record vacation, sickness or MUT requests from employees in the shared company calendar and time and attendance.
4. Review and provide weekly Time Sheets for temporary employees to employment agencies.
5. Act as Benefits Administrator assisting in annual benefits open enrollment to include completing required documents and updating employee information as needed. Monitor new employees for timely enrollment of benefits. Maintain company insurance benefits document control to include Worker’s Compensation.
6. Ensure all appropriate notices and policies are communicated to the employees. Maintain and update bulletin boards for posting of legal and corporate notices.
7. Maintain employee handbook and process updates as directed or when needed.
8. Assist and support quality management system internal audit and OSHA compliance.
9. Guide employees through the appropriate on and offboarding policies.
10. Handling employee disputes and disciplinary actions.
14. Manage job recruitment, selection, and promotion.
15. Develop and overseeing employee benefits and wellness programs.
16. Develop, promote, and enforce personnel policies.
17. Promote employee career development and job training.
18. Serve as a primary contact for Environmental, Health & Safety.
19. Administer compensation and benefit plans.
21. Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
22. Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
26. Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
27. Organize annual employee performance reviews.
Skills:
Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus.
Oral and Written Communication Skills, Reading Skills.
Professionalism and Diplomacy.
Math Aptitude.
Organization, Planning and Time Management.
Detail Oriented and Problem Solving.
Proficiency in MSOffice (MS Excel: V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Macros).
MRP and Third-Party Payroll online portal experience preferred.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in Human Resources preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Prior human resources experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Additional HR training and certifications preferred.
