RCN Capital, LLC is a national, direct private lender providing time-sensitive, bridge financing to real estate investors to fund the purchase of non-owner occupied residential and commercial properties, provide bridge loans, and provide real estate-backed lines of credit.

We are looking for a Jr. Accounts Payable Specialist to assist our Accounting team with printing and reviewing invoices from AP inbox, performing data entry as well as administrative tasks such as scanning and filing documents, printing invoices, mailing checks, and creating and updating spreadsheets using MS Excel.

Ideal candidates will have strong administrative skills and be looking to start their career in a growing Accounting team!

Primary Responsibilities:

• File Invoices
• Scan Checks
• Print Invoices from AP Inbox
• Look up investor and loan number
• Enter accounts payable invoices in NetSuite
• Match invoice scans to uploaded AP invoices
• Stuff, Stamp and mail AP checks
• Prepare weekly iServe report
• Additional tasks as assigned by Controller

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience using MS Office applications especially Words, Outlook, Teams, and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask at an efficient pace
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• At least one year of experience in a professional administrative role
• At least one year of experience using professional office software and applications
• At least one year of academic or professional experience in accounts payable or receivable
• Experience providing administrative support for accounting a plus

Schedule:

• Full time
• Monday-Friday, 9:00AM to 6:00PM
• Hybrid work model

Education:

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience
