System Engineer

RBR-Technologies is seeking a System Engineer to support one of our customers in Maryland. This position can be hired between levels 3-6 based upon experience (see minimum requirements below)

Skills/Capabilities:

• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
• Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.

Minimum Requirements:

• SE3A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience. or - A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general systems engineering experience. or - A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of system engineering experience. or - A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of system engineering experience.

  SE4A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience. or - A High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience. or - A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of system engineering experience. or - A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of system engineering experience.

  SE5A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience. or - A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience. or - A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of system engineering experience. or - A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of system engineering experience.

  SE6A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience. or - A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience. or - A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of system engineering experience. or - A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of system engineering experience.

• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
