Raventek Solution Partners is Hiring a Senior SharePoint Developer Near Washington, DC

Description

Job Title: Senior SharePoint Developer

Department: Operations – Services 

Reports To: RavenTek Program Manager

Location: Washington, DC with flexibility for Telework

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: Full-time, 40-hours/week

FLSA Status: Exempt

Clearance: Secret

Position Summary

The Senior SharePoint Developer is responsible for supporting EUR and IO custom .NET and web application development. The Senior Software Developer will develop .NET web applications, design and develop SharePoint–based applications that interact with enterprise databases, web services, and applications. The Senior Software Developer also guides and sets standards for .NET and web application development teams as they provide service-based views of their applications through SharePoint 2016 and Office 365. The Senior Software Developer will develop .NET solutions using Microsoft’s Azure cloud hosted platform and other Cloud Service Provider (CSPs) platforms. The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the EUR contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support the DOS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop .NET Web Applications with Database backend
  • Design and Develop .NET applications with Microsoft’s Azure cloud hosted platform
  • Build custom web parts, “features” and “solutions”, SharePoint Designer workflows, custom Visual Studio workflows, Event Receivers and Event Handlers
  • Work with Embassies and Consulate personnel to define requirements on application development
  • Work with EUR-IO established .NET standards for development
  • Evaluate requests for custom features for feasibility to execute within SharePoint 2016 and Office 365
  • Script deployment of web parts and features within SharePoint 2010/2016 structure
  • Create system documentation and standard operating procedures for enterprise development
  • Provide tier 3 technical support to site administrators when coding or integration issues arise
  • Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period
  • Submit MSRs (weekly, monthly, etc.)
  • Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly
  • Complete required compliance training as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, and Critical Skills

  • Knowledge of cloud foundation principles and standards
  • Knowledge and participation of all stages of the SDLC Processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, particularly with a customer focus
  • Knowledge of technical requirements definitions
  • Practical knowledge of AI, ChatGPT, and Copilot is preferred

Education & Work Experience

  • Over 3 years’ experience developing Web Applications
  • Over 3 years’ experience working with Microsoft Azure
  • Over 3 years’ experience developing and using the .NET framework
  • Over 3 years of Component-based software development with strong C# skills coupled with Oracle, SQL Server
  • Over 2 years SQL Server database development experience
  • Experience developing and configuring SharePoint Solution on SharePoint 2016 and Office 365
  • Experience with Power Platform, Power BI, and Power Query
  • SQL Server database development experience
  • Experience with Visual Studio workflows and the SharePoint API and web services
  • Experience managing software builds
  • SharePoint implementation and integration experience
  • Experience with operations with federal government classified and unclassified networks
  • Experience with Active Directory Integration with applications
  • Management and coordination experience with large systems rollout
  • Experience with data visualizations and data dashboards

Work Environment

Employee will be working indoors in an office environment. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.
