Job Summary:

Excellent opportunity for a dynamic person to join a cable manufacturing company as a Quality Control Test Inspector. The successful candidate will conduct electrical and or functional test to confirm the compliance of customer and, or product quality requirements

Duties:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

• Perform the Electrical Test to all cables according with the customer’s requirements / internal procedures-working instructions, including the preliminary test (first test) as well as the final test.
• Assure the correct selection and use of electrical test fixtures according to the traveler.
• Notify to the QC Lead and, or QC Supervisor any problems that might prevent us to meet the inspection test plan or compromise the quality of the product.
• Communicate any missing, damaged or worn condition of the test fixtures to supervisor and tooling department.
• Document in accordance with current procedures the non-conforming product by identifying, marking, and segregating properly the material and communicating in timely manner the defect(s) to the production and QC supervisors.
• Ensure that the Electrical Test equipment and PC are used properly maintained in good condition, and within calibration dates.
• Make sure clock in and out of the system (Start and end jon using the M3 system) per Work Order and daily basis.
• Ensure the proper handling and transportation of the material so it won’t get damage or lost.
• Transfer physically and on systems the material approved by the Electrical Test
• Follow at all times the Employees Manual Polices.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
