Rapid Die Cut is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales / Account Manager

Rapid Die Cut(“RDC”) is a rapidly growing digital manufacturer and converter of custom parts made from various non-metal materials. We serve 20 industries in North America and provide custom-cut parts for hundreds of different applications.
We seek a highly motivated, self-starting, and professional individual with a technical background and B2B sales experience who understands manufacturing technologies. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers by leveraging their technical expertise and business acumen to propose relevant solutions to real business problems. Our Inside Sales Team works in tandem with our Customer Service Team to sell our materials and manufacturing services across business units and markets in North America. The Inside Sales Rep anticipates and overcomes technical objections to grow and accelerate sales opportunities and provide the right solution to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our RDC’s capabilities and services to prospects and customers
  • Conduct discovery meetings with clients and prospects to uncover business and technical requirements that map to RDC solutions
  • Consult with prospects and customers to identify appropriate applications of RDC to define a business case and solution.
  • Demonstrate RDC’s capabilities
  • Provide customer and prospect feedback and content for marketing collateral through case studies
  • Support marketing efforts by serving as an industry thought leader at events and webinars
  • Build relationships with customers and be responsible for maintaining the customer relationship. This may include traveling to customers and tradeshows
  • Prepare and send quotes to clients and follow-up on quotes and convert to orders.
  • Advise CEO on increasing efficiencies in the selling process
Requirements and Skills:
  • 2 years in a directly related technical customer experience role with the responsibility of problem solving and leading projects
  • Technical aptitude with ability to communicate technical information to others at various levels
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and ability to be highly responsive
  • Mechanically intuitive and knowledgeable about manufacturing processes
  • Just as comfortable in deep technical discussions with engineers and manufacturing professionals as they are presenting to varied audiences, including executives
  • Consultative, making sure to ask questions to understand the why
  • Experienced at preparing technical solutions for business proposals
  • Driven and self-motivated with the ability to manage and advance projects and customer relationships with minimal oversight in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen, professional tact, and negotiation tactics
  • Engineering degree (mechanical preferred), or related technical degree
  • Demonstrated project management and presentation skills.
  • CAD experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including mastery in English
  • Willingness to travel if needed
  • Must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States or hold a visa that allows you to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing or Industrial sales, or related technical focus or equivalent work experience
Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
