Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for weed eating various locations in our District such as roadside catch basins, pipes along canals, using a zero turn mower to mow city area. Also this position includes helping as a rod man for crew as they shoot grade. This is a hands-on position that requires being able to follow a map, ability to tolerate the heat and hard work. Also to operate various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general groundskeeping duties... includes mowing, weed eating etc.
- Operate and maintain power tools and equipment such as weed eaters, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws etc.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping
- Proficiency in operating hand tools and power equipment
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
