The Randolph Community Middle School is seeking a Paraprofessional to support the Language Based Program. The purpose of the program is to improve students’ success in reading by implementing reading support using approved curriculum, document student progress, activities and outcomes. The paraprofessional will assist the Reading teacher in providing a safe and positive learning environment in the language based ELA and/or Math classes and will support students with language based disabilities in social studies and/or science classes.Experience working with children in a diverse, multi-cultural academic settingTerms: 182 school days, 6.5 hours per day, plus compensation for 10 holidaysSalary: Consistent with Support Professional Collective Bargaining Agreement and depends on relevant experience, degree level and subject, certification, other relevant skills.
