RadNet is Hiring a Remote Audit Assurance Account Specialist

Job Summary

The Audit Assurance Account Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our accounts receivable (AR). Daily tasks require review and evaluation of individual patient accounts to identify potential issues with our processes. The position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on improving our overall revenue cycle operations by bringing awareness to our management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow the patient record from beginning to end for completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify potential issues or discrepancies affecting collections to provide recommendations for process improvement.
  • Summarize findings and document notes on patient accounts.
  • Provide supporting screenshots and documentation to substantiate findings on patient accounts.
  • Present findings on patient accounts to the analytics team in preparation for management review.
  • Collaborate closely with Reimbursement Ops to gain a comprehensive understanding of patient accounts.
  • Participate in conference calls as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned relating to audit assurance and revenue cycle operations.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required.
  • Successful completion of some college coursework or a college degree is preferred.
  • Experience in a health care administrative environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle process.
  • Proficiency in using a personal computer and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a high-level of integrity, confidentiality and business ethics.

  • Adapts and is willing to learn new tasks, methods, and systems.
  • Reports to work regularly as scheduled; consistently punctual with respect to working hours, meal and rest breaks, and maintains satisfactory personal attendance in accordance with RadNet guidelines.
  • Consistently adheres to the time management policies and procedures.
  • Completes job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner.

Physical Demands

This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, talking, and hearing. Visual acuity to read computer screens and written materials. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally.

Pay range: $17.00 - $21.00/ hour
