Description

The Staff Accountant position at radius financial group will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting, general ledger, payroll processing, payable, account reconciliations and various financial analysis. The position will be based out of corporate headquarters located in Norwell, MA but remote candidates will be considered. 

The Staff Accountant's responsibilities include without limitation the following:

• Overall day-to-day completion of the company’s accounting functions
• Heavy account analysis
• Assist in reporting functions and financial analysis
• Collaborate with Executive Management Team (EMT) and a 3rd Party CPA audit firm to provide information for the various annual audits and required compliance reports
• All general ledger accounting functions including journal entries, analysis and reconciliation 
• Monthly P&L Reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliation preparation
• Accounts payable processing
• Cash Account Reconciliations
• Cash Management Functions including wire transfer initiation and payment processing
• Payroll processing 
• Align with radius core values (Customer Obsessed, Results Driven, Team Inspired, Kinda’ Curious, Character Matters)
• Other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree required

- 3 years of accounting experience

- CPA certification preferred

- Mortgage experience preferred but not required

- Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills

- Must be detail oriented 

- Must demonstrate a flexibility to change priorities and workflow on a daily basis as needed.
