Description

Radiology Ltd., a 500-employee medical imaging company located in Arizona is seeking a Training Manager. As Tucson’s hometown radiology practice, our mission is to provide compassionate care and superior medical imaging services to patients, providers, and healthcare organizations. We have 11 sites throughout Southern Arizona.

We are looking for a natural leader who can help guide our technical and administrative staff by providing direction, inspiration, motivation, and leadership. This individual will be accountable for outstanding quality of care to our patients and instilling trust while developing the staff.

Job Summary:

The Training Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the development and implementation of training programs for our Radiology Ltd. staff. Training Manager responsibilities will include designing curriculum, organizing preceptor workshops, managing the Technology Advancement Academy program, safety protocol training, and conducting training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members. The Training Manager will collaborate closely with department heads to identify training needs and ensure that training initiatives align with organizational goals and industry standards. The Training Manager will also be responsible for evaluating training effectiveness, gathering feedback, and continuously improving training operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end training operations, creating customized programs, utilizing internal SMEs, and implementing progress tracking systems
  • Evaluate and prioritize enhancements to current training processes across the organization
  • Design and lead didactic training sessions on core Radiology Ltd. systems
  • Establish and oversee a team of preceptors, providing training resources and performance assessments
  • Oversee technologists participating in the Technology Advancement Academy program and/or other Technologist Training programs, including conducting regular check-ins with trainees to assess progress, provide support, and ensure alignment with program objectives
  • Develop accelerated career pathways, reducing time to advanced roles with enhanced progress tracking
  • Identify departmental subject matter experts to assist in specialized training as needed
  • Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) for efficient training delivery
  • Provide and gather feedback with key stakeholders to identify training gaps and optimize future training programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate on recruitment and training of additional trainers, delegating tasks and evaluating performance
  • Assist in enforcement of safety protocols by integrating them into training programs and ensuring comprehensive training for all employees on safety procedures

Qualifications


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines
  • Knowledge of basic level computer skills
  • Knowledge in adult learning theories and instruction design methodologies
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS)
  • Knowledge in various training delivery methods (e.g. classroom training, e-learning, etc.)
  • Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion
  • Skill in written and verbal communication
  • Skill in designing and developing comprehensive training programs aligned with organization goals and employee development needs
  • Skill in delivering engaging and impactful training sessions to diverse audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality
  • Ability to conduct post-training assessments and gather feedback for continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines
  • Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant change
  • Ability to effectively handle details with accuracy
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and on-time approval to work as scheduled
