Part time Baker's Assistant

We are seeking a motivated Baker's Assistant to join our production team and help us create delicious pastries every day. We'll train the right candidate! A willingness to learn is essential. 7:30 AM-11:30 AM shift.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by ensuring all surfaces, equipment (including deep cleaning when necessary), and utensils are sanitized according to food safety regulations.

• Assist bakers in the production of a variety of pastries, including tasks like measuring ingredients, mixing dough, preparing for next day's bake, shaping bread, laminating dough, and loading ovens.
• Replenish ingredients and supplies throughout the shift to keep production running smoothly and organize ingredient delivery.
• Package and decorate finished pastries according to company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the head baker.

Qualifications:

• Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
• Basic understanding of food safety procedures is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
