No Stone Unturned Therapeutic Learning Center is seeking a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) for our Pediatric Therapy Center. No Stone Unturned is a collaborative care outpatient pediatric therapy clinic that prides itself in providing a team-based approach to therapy for the greatest gains and progress potential. We are looking for a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) who is passionate about helping children to achieve their full potential, with strong interpersonal skills to support collaboration and communication between disciplines. Join our highly skilled team of Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapists.
Some basic responsibilities and duties include:
Administer, conduct, evaluate and supervise the implementation of behavioral assessment measures (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R) and functional assessment measures, under the supervision of a BCBA.
Develop individual goals and objectives for home- and center-based programs and design behavior support plans based on functional assessment data, under the supervision of BCBA.
Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
Teach the clients to acquire language, self-help, and social skills.
Assist clients, as needed, to acquire appropriate life skills. This may include toilet training, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
Communicate in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, therapists, and clients.
Assist in creating instructional materials.
Function as an active member of the treatment team.
Work with clients, staff, families, and community to implement client's treatment plans.
Consistently implement behavior plans to reduce client's socially inappropriate behavior and promote appropriate social behaviors.
Effectively respond to and manage crisis situations which may include client physical aggression.
Complete daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner.
Abide by all facility policies and procedures and educational requirements.
Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, training, and instruction requirements, as well as any other standards that govern healthcare services.
Perform other duties as assigned and permitted by law and training.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science or other related area.
Current BCaBA Certification.
Must be licensed in the State of Kansas as a Licensed Behavior Analyst.
One year’s experience with pediatric population preferred.
Pass a background check per agency procedure.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Able to prioritize meeting deadlines and complete documentation within established timeframes.
