Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operation of daily activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical or dental office setting and possess strong communication skills.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information in electronic systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate patient referrals as needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role
- Familiarity with dental or medical office procedures and terminology
- Proficient in using office software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
