A Montgomery County Dermatology Office is NOW HIRING an exceptional, professional, reliable, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hard-working office manager to join our dynamic team. Position is full time.
Candidates must have exceptional customer service skills to join our team as office manager.
Location: Montgomery County
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
● Providing excellent patient customer service
● Follow directions and respects policies and procedures
● Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
● Sanitizing and cleaning respective areas as needed
● Monitors implementation of office sanitation and state of cleanliness
● Attention to detail
● Greeting all patients in a professional manner
● Engaging in a pleasant and clear speaking voice while actively listen to patients, using empathy and concern
● Maintain a positive attitude that shines through to our patients in person and on the phone
● Ensuring that appointment setting, patient data collection, and patient check-in and check-out processes are properly overseen
● Collect and manage patient information with respect and detail, in accordance with industry regulations (HIPAA, etc.)
● Be responsible for pulling and filing, and maintaining patient medical records
● Handling escalated complex patient concerns
● Assist in coordinating and troubleshooting insurance issues
● Intervene with any patient billing concerns
● Managing the office work schedules of the provider and all other staff
● Communicating with other physician offices regarding referrals and patient records
● Overseeing maintenance of office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders
● Overseeing medical office equipment inventory, stocking, and ordering
● Support the front office business administrators and other office staff in various operations areas and tasks
● Always represent the dermatology clinic and its providers with friendliness and professionalism
Requirements:
● All applicants must have authorization to work in the United States
● Knowledge of medical terminology, medical computer programs and insurance policies preferred
● Knowledge of vital signs is required
● Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique preferred. Considerations for on-job training may be made for strong candidates
● Current CPR Certification
● With Medical Office experience (at least 1 year required)
● With Managerial level experience (at least 1 year required)
● Computer literacy
● Proficiency in Word and Excel are required
● Type 40 wpm
● The position requires someone who is personable, dependable and responsible, with excellent organizational as well as verbal and written communication skills
● Preference for candidates with experience and willingness to establish and maintain a highly professional but enjoyable work environment
● Preference for candidates with experience and detailed knowledge of maintaining compliance with patient privacy
● Preference for candidates with at least 1 year working in a clinical office or relevant experience
● Preference for candidates with Dermatology experience (At least one year)
● Candidacy Is Favored If You Possess Experience with EHR, specially Modernizing Medicine’s EMA
● Candidacy Is Favored If You Possess Experience Within The Healthcare Industry
● Candidacy Is Favored If You Possess Bi-Lingual skills (Spanish)
