We are seeking a candidate to work in our Solana Beach, CA. office. 

The focus of this role is to develop and implement social media, marketing promotions, events and strategies to promote the Blue Sky Marketing brand. Will also identify and create marketing activities to help drive sales by performing the following responsibilities:

Marketing/Social Media

• Ideate and plan marketing activities to drive sales
• Execute a variety of marketing initiatives 
• Develop and plan social media marketing posts, including monitoring engagement (e.g. comments and shares).
  • Tailor posts to certain industries/clients to increase sales.
  • Improve Social Media presence and increase followers through captivating photos and brand elevating descriptions.
  • Utilize social media management program to schedule posts.
  • Build on-line community through engaging posts and contests.
• Implement an editorial calendar to manage content and plan timely marketing campaigns.
• Manage, write and post updates and content to company website, including repurposing and publishing of blogs.
• Produce email marketing campaigns.

Design

• Update template and customized presentations for sales staff to utilize on sales calls.
• Produce content videos.
• Create visually appealing and relevant promotional materials for print, web, and social media using Adobe Creative Suite.

Data Analytics 

• Deliver daily/weekly/monthly reporting that analyzes traffic, trends, and overall digital strategy.
• Monitor competitive intelligence
• Interpret and examine quantitative data such as information received from third parties and social media into recommendations for social media, content marketing and social advertising campaigns.
  • Analyze key metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Provide reporting on conversion rates such as click through rates, impressions, reach, cost per click.
  • Extract data into meaningful information.

Qualified candidates will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, public relations or a related field
• A social media “native” with a constant finger on the pulse of latest trends and platforms, particularly with LinkedIn. 
• Creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
• Proficiency in Canva and Google Workplace
• At least one year of post-college work experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in video editing and software
• Experience with CRM systems in particular, Hubspot.
