R & B Wagner Inc is Hiring a Recruiter (Part-Time) Near Milwaukee, WI

Description

Summary

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Recruiter will identify, recruit, and screen potential employes for specific positions available at Wagner In addition, the Recruiter will research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of functions and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  1. Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  2. Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  3. Works with department managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
  4. Partners with placement agencies as necessary. 
  5. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  6. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  7. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  8. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  9. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers and other stakeholders.
  10. Collaborates with the hiring manager and the HR Manager during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  11. Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants, when necessary.
  12. Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and background.
  13. Maintains and reports on metrics and observations.
  14. Attends and participates in college job fairs, recruiting sessions and other networking opportunities.
  15. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  16. Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO).
  17. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business administration or related field required.

2. At least two years of HR or related experience is required.

3. At least 5 years managing all phases of the recruitment process and hiring process is highly preferred.

4. At least one year of human resources management experience is preferred.

5. At least 6 months of payroll experience is preferred.

6. HR Certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is preferred.

2. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

4. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to problem solve and provide recommendations for solution.

7. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

8. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

9. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

10. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

11. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

12. Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines. 

13. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
