Job Summary for CT Technologist:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations using CT and PET scan equipment, ideally we are looking for experience with Siemens Scanners. Your expertise in medical imaging and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be crucial in providing accurate and high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities of the CT Tech include:

- Operate CT and PET scan equipment to capture detailed images of patients' internal organs and tissues

- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety

- Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images

- Administer contrast agents as necessary for enhanced imaging

- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their well-being

- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses

- Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and equipment maintenance

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field

- Valid certification as a CT Technologist

- Previous experience working with CT and PET scan equipment preferred, specifically Siemens Scanners knowledge preferred

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings

- Proficient in using computer systems for image processing and documentation

****The hours for the role will be either:

1 CT Tech: Thurs/Fri/Sat 10a-10:30p - 3x12 hours

or

1 CT Tech: Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat 12p-10:30p - 4x10 hours

or

2 CT Techs: Wed/Thurs and Fri/Sat rotating shifts 10a-10:30p - 2x12 hours
