R-2 Contractors Inc is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Gilbert, AZ

R2 Contractors, Inc. is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. Provide essential clerical support, managing day-to-day operations and assisting in facility management. The Project Coordinator is involved in coordinating meetings, maintaining records, and managing files. Offer project coordination support to the VP, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Assistant Project Managers. Draft and issue project proposals, schedule service/repair calls, create budgets, preliminary schedules, and manage close-outs/warranty documents. Handle vendor pre-qualifications and update vendor records monthly.

The list of primary responsibilities includes, but is not limited to the following:

· Schedule meetings with the project team to understand their needs

· Secure and maintain project-specific vendor Certificates of Insurance (COI)

· Enter and follow up on Client Change Orders (CO’s)

· Communicate with vendors and clients regarding project status

· Check executed document status

· Prepare close-out packets and job binders

· Maintain complete and accurate electronic job files

· Other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Employee must have a minimum of 2 years of construction administrative experience
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and supervisory skills required
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Must be a team player and willing to perform multiple duties as the need arises
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and self-driven
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and a DVR acceptable to the company’s insurance carrier
