Position Summary
As an Operations Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop your own team of QP Associates. You 
will be responsible for engaging your team during a shift to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance 
performance and engagement. Daily responsibilities will include setting priorities, reviewing work standards, and 
implementing methods to enhance workflow by identifying issues and expediting solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the day-to-day operations in a fast-paced E-Commerce distribution environment.
• Work actively with associates to ensure success by maintaining a positive motivating leadership presence.
• Build a culture of safety among associates to achieve a safe working environment.
• Drive standards through the day by motivating, teaching, and holding team members accountable.
• Conduct shift briefing, including safety topics, upcoming events and work plan for the day.
• Monitor staffing needs for department/shift and adjust work to be accomplished on the shift according to 
available resources and skill sets.
• Provide associates with meaningful developmental opportunities and prepares associates for upward promotion if 
interested.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate job performance of associates in assigned departments including annual review.
• Complete necessary documentation for tracking attendance, productivity, behavior, and safety.
• Responsible for maintaining fiscal responsibility within the DC including labor and supply cost control.
• Actively develop and promote open lines of communication to maintain and develop positive employee 
relations, encourage employee involvement in the process, and recognize employees for their 
accomplishment and ideas.
Physical Requirements:
• Stand for long periods of time and walk continuously.
• Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as needed.
• Climb stairs and perform work at platform heights up to 60 feet.
• Lift up to 50lbs. Specific weight requirements may vary within each department.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Logistics(preferred), or equivalent work experience.
• Two years supervisory experience preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate skills in working on computers – Microsoft office package and Kronos timekeeping software 
solutions.
• Ability to work flexible schedule to include nights and weekends if business needs require it.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support other shift as departments as needed
