Questville Services group boarding home is a unique group home for youth. Our mission is to support each youth on his or her journey of growth and healing. Questville provides a supportive environment for those in need of a personalized residential program. Services and support are tailored to meet the needs of individual youth being served with the ultimate goal of transitioning the youth to a permanent family/or preparing the youth for a successful transition into adulthood. These youth present with a range of custody statues and it is expected that all services provided by the program will support and enhance case plan goals and permanency planning for the youth.

-Provide appropriate supervision of youth at all times as directed by supervisor and policy and procedure.

-Teach home management skills-Topics may include : menu planning, cooking, cleaning and basic home maintenance.

-Provide situational training and counseling.

-Participate with the youth in positive leisure time activities and age appropriate social events in the community.

-Expose the youth to cultural and social values and models values that reinforce socially acceptable behaviors.

-Teach and model appropriate communication skills.

-Administer medications to youth as prescribed and enter all medication administration on a medication log.

-Utilize the Behavior Management System in the home.

-Address social living skills-including communication skills.

-Ensure safety and security of all youth.

-When on night shift, remains awake al all times, complete required bed checks and all other assigned duties.

-Take youth to scheduled medical and mental health appointments.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.50 - $15.00 per hour

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
