Position Summary 
Responsible for developing and executing catering solutions to meet customer needs. Facilitates the delivery of prepared food created from an event-specific work order. 

Catering Attendant Responsibilities: 

  • Cascades the vision of Quest Food Management Services ensuring the Quest vision, values and founding principles are effectively communicated, understood and practiced. 
  • Demonstrates commitment to Quest vision, values and missions through actions on a daily basis. 
  • Assemble and set up catering requests for delivery. 
  • Deliver, set up and serve catered events. 
  • Clean up catered events in a timely manner 
  • Replenish any product during catering events. 
  • Maintain a proper appearance and cleanliness of food service areas. 
  • Clean up catered events in a timely manner. 
  • Ensure “on time” delivery schedule for catered events. 
  • Act as the “Client Contact” between catered event participants and Quest. 
  • Following proper food safety/sanitation practices 
  • Report to scheduled shifts on time and in complete uniform as outlined in Quest team member handbook. 
  • Provide efficient, friendly, and prompt service to the client, students, and staff. 
  • Inform manager of need for change in a timely manner 
  • Work with other members of Quest as a team. Maintain open, positive, and effective communication with others. 
  • Perform closing responsibilities, storing, and cleaning of all catering items and restocking all areas assigned. 
  • Maintain and develop professional relationships with clients, guests, and staff during events by using their names whenever possible and anticipating their needs. 
  • Perform other duties on checklist and as assigned by the catering manager. 
  • Perform other duties as required. 

Catering Attendant Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in the food service industry working in business/corporate dining, preferred
  • Minimum of two years of food service or catering experience and prior experience in a management role 
  • Strong communication and client management skills 
  • Solid knowledge of financials 
  • Proficient in MS Office 
  • Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Service Manager)
