Description
JOB SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for the execution of overall company learning and development strategy, managing implementation, and measuring impact. Regularly includes administering, creating, organizing, and facilitating training for all applicable team members, on both standardized schedules and by special request. Must be passionate about learning and development of team members. Successful candidates will be able to adapt communication, medium, and teaching style as needed to maximize learning effectiveness with both local and remote team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
  • Consult with RPMs, supervisors, and staff to identify training needs, utilizing needs assessments.
  • Develop and execute effective follow-up strategies to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) on specific job functions as required to enable effective training delivery.
  • Evaluate individual and organization performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance
  • Optimize training programs for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Utilize a flexible training approach with the ability to adjust based on audience needs.
  • Develop, organize, conduct, and evaluate learning programs.
  • Create teaching materials and learning deliverables.
  • Effectively facilitate training on soft skills as well as technical, operational systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Direct controlled and structured learning experiences.
  • Deliver presentations on learning material to leaders, staff, and others.
  • Plan, organize, and implement a range of training activities, including monitored simulations and problem-solving scenarios.
  • Help employees improve upon or enhance existing skills.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two years related experience in property management/training preferred
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OFFICE EXPERIENCE: Proficient in MS Office, particularly email (both the desktop version and web based), word, and excel; knowledge of office management systems and procedures, excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Attention to details and problem-solving skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as emails, utility billings, financial documents, instructional documents, rental agreements, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to add and subtract numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
