Primary Function

The Insurance Channel Sales Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining insurance broker relationships and increasing sales for Insurance Mandated Projects. The ICSM will lead and support all facets of the Sales Process regarding Insurance-Mandated Services. This role works closely with Insurance Agencies, Brokers, Underwriters, and Builders. The ICSM works to competitely bid and win Insurance-Mandated Quality Assurance Services. The ICSM promotes sales growth by building and expanding external business relationships, prospecting for new opportunities, and executing sales processes effectively and accurately.

This is an exempt position that reports to the President.

Job Responsibilities:

• Promote Quality Built to Insurance Agencies and Brokers as a preferred provider of 3rd party Quality Assurance Services.
• Meet with and deliver sales presentations to firms not currently familiar with Quality Built
• Meet annual Sales Quota Goals by achieving or exceeding milestone KPIs each fiscal quarter.
• Submit Sales Proposals and follow-up on proposals as needed to close sales.
• Set-up processes and tools as needed to maintain and update all pertinent back-up documentation.
• Gather required information from the customer for proposals/jobs being awarded and executed.
• Follow outlined processes for submitted awarded project to Sales Operations Team
• Provide Revised Proposals or Amendments to customer when Scope of Works alters.
• Compile information and/or create reports as requested.
• Data clean-up projects, as assigned.
• Update Work Instructions as processes evolve, as assigned
• Miscellaneous projects and assignments, as assigned.
• Adhere to company’s Quality Management System, ISO policies, processes and work instructions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or 5 years in sales and growth in a fast-paced B2B environment.
• 5 years Customer Service Interaction, Including Problem-Solving with Diplomacy
• 5 years Software experience with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• 3 years Experience with MS Dynamics CRM and other CRM Software
• 3 years working with or in the insurance industry

Machines, Tools, and Equipment

Computer software knowledge: use of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook. Standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing and walking in an office setting. Lifting up to 30 pounds may be required. Assistance may be requested for lifting more than 35 pounds.

Standard Work Hours

Normal business hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm). This position may require more than 40 hours per week including evenings and weekends. Some work will be performed via telecommunications from home. Travel may be required. Vehicle travel on behalf of the company requires possession of a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and adequate auto insurance that meets the company’s compliance minimums.
