Qualitest is looking for a Scada Test Lead to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
This role reports to the System Integration Test Lead.
The SCADA Test Lead is responsible for planning and facilitating all tests for the Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Test phases (FAT and SAT).
Testing consists of a mix of functional and nonfunctional cases for business facing features, disaster recovery, interfaces, security integration, and monitoring tool.
SIT and SAT tests will be run by a combination of client and/or partner firm personnel as well as business and IT SMEs.
During planning, the lead must build a resource loaded plan given a set of predefined test cases and leadership driven priorities and planning assumptions.
Planning requires coordinating with the appropriate managers and team members within the client and partner organizations (~30) to identify and build a resource loaded work schedule that clarifies test timeline, owners, edge (interfacing) system points of contacts, as well as test environmental availability.
The lead is responsible for socializing and presenting the plan upward to the client’s project governance teams and shepherding the plan through the review and approval process.
Prior to testing, the lead is responsible for building and delivering test training to those unfamiliar with the testing tools (ADO).
Training addresses what to expect during a ‘typical day’ of testing as well as the mechanics of running tests (pass/fail each step) and logging defects.
During testing, the lead is responsible for making and updating test run assignments in ADO, coordinating with edge system and ADMS project IT team members to prepare data, configurations, and code in the environments and support testing.
The lead must be proactive in issue (especially resource/personnel challenges) and escalate the issues to manage them to resolution.
The lead is also responsible for daily and weekly test status reporting and facilitating the daily team standup.
The SCADA Test Lead will have a small tam of quality engineers to assist with ADO administration, defect triage/management, status report development, and daily test coordination (directing of testers).
Requirements
At least 10 years of experience as a quality engineering lead with at least 5 of these in teams > 20 testers.
Experience with test management in ADO.
Assertive and good communicator.
Strong written and verbal English skills.
Experience with SCADA systems is a plus.
Experience with Outage Management Systems (OMS) / Distribution Management Systems (DMS) / Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) is a plus.

A Competitive pay, the salary range for the role is $100,000 - $130,000
