Cloud Engineer
Herndon, VA (Hybrid)
MUST:
Must have an Active Secret clearance
Experienced Cloud Engineer
8 years experience working in cloud computing, preferably in the federal space.
Experience with CI/CD systems.
Experience with multiple cloud providers is a major plus, with a larger emphasis on the AWS cloud
Hold active certifications in at least one of our preferred cloud providers: AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Significant understanding of Zero trust architecture
Significant understanding of supply chain risk management (SCRM) automation tools and techniques.
Experience with telemetry, monitoring, and dashboarding tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, NewRelic, DataDog, etc.
Analytical and troubleshooting abilities.Heavy experience and comfort level with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
Heavy experience and comfort level with Pipeline Automation Tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Tekton Pipelines, etc.
Significant experience containerizing applications and deploying them to a Kubernetes cluster.
Experience with Cloud Native Computing Foundation landscape and heavily adopted tools such as ArgoCD, Tekton, etc.
DUTIES:
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications and infrastructure that support a DevSecOps culture and practices.
Creating and managing cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and techniques
Developing and deploying software and infrastructure delivery pipelines using continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) tools and methodologies.
Implementing security controls and best practices to cloud solutions using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Monitoring and optimizing the performance, reliability, and availability of cloud-based applications and services.
