Infrastructure Operations has a requirement to migrate hardware, operating systems, applications, and other elements of its IT infrastructure from Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) to IPv6.The migration will ensure the design and integration of IPv6 technology across VA on-premises core infrastructure, network operations, support desks, and security systems, as well as VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC) where applicable.Key Responsibilities:Cloud Network Engineer's primary objective is to implement Networking and Security teams requirements for an IPv6 environment in Azure and AWS environments.Design and build highly available cloud architectures using best practices.Good understanding of Cloud Networking and Cloud SecurityProficiency with both AWS and Azure cloud environmentsExperience in migrating applications from On-premises to cloud with re-factor/re-architect.Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), to automate using Terraform Provide technical leadership and continuous improvement in cloud architecture and operations.Have excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skillsStay updated with industry best practices, standards, and security guidelines, ensuring compliance and security of the cloud infrastructure.Documentation experience with architecture, processes, and procedures related to cloud infrastructure.Work with the Engineering team to identify the IPv6 migration path forward: re-platform, re-host, re-factor, etc..Required Qualifications:Mid-Level Candidates: Bachelor's Degree (Technical Degree), plus 5-7 years' experienceSenior Candidates: Bachelor's Degree (Technical Degree), plus 12-15 years' experiencePublic Trust ClearanceWho We AreNetCentrics proudly holds a distinguished position as a leader in cybersecurity, enterprise IT, and telecommunications solutions and services.
