The legal assitant/paralegal position is for a patent firm. It is unlike any other such position in a law firm and for that matter in any other patent firm. A MUST requirement is a BS or BA in Chemistry, chemical engineering, microbiology, cellular biology or equivalent technology. I am looking for someone who has an understanding of DNA sequencing, complex protein chemistry, immunology and basics in cellular biology, the law not so much.

• Candidate, after gaining experience in how our group functions, will have responsibility for and direct contact with clients and managing large workload of patents, trade marks and other intellectual property in the US and other countries. Attention to detail is a fundamental requirement and the ability to work under deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
