QinetiQ has an immediate opening for Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer supporting federal law enforcement. We are specifically looking for someone who has experience migrating legacy systems and implementing security controls as part of the DevOps process. QinetiQ has a full shop of dedicated software developers, engineers, data scientists and security professionals that this position will reside under, the Data and Technology Group. We are looking for an experienced technologist to fill this role, as well as fit within our development culture for continued growth and development.

Primary job responsibilities for this positions are:

Create User Interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS and the Angular Framework
• Implement client requirements and the UX/UI team to build designs into polished code
• Design and implement complex Angular apps, directives, services and components into a .NET Core backend
• Ensure that applications are responsive and optimized for maximum speed and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and bugs to deliver a seamless user experience.
• Work alongside back-end developers to integrate front-end logic with server-side functionality, web services, and databases.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality and industry standards.
• Design fluid and responsive pages.
• Establish and adhere to product style guides for a consistent user experience.

• Bachelor's degree and 9 years or more of related experience. Additional experience may be used in lieu of a degree
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance and a DOJ Public Trust prior to starting
• Proven experience with Angular and .NET Core
• Experience developing Enterprise-level applications in an Agile environment
• Experience with PL/SQL and JavaScript
• Relational Database Experience
• Firm understanding of web development processes from planning to deployment
• Experience with Containers
• Understanding code versioning tools such as Git/Gitlab
• Experience with system integration, APIs, scripting languages and integrating functions between applications
• Relational database experience
• hand-on experience with Rest API, RESTful services, JWT and asynchronous request handling

• Current Secret clearance and DOJ suitability
• Linux-based environment development experience
• Experience with VB.NET or C# for code debugging
• Containerization using Docker
